Tessiland Beach Club is born: the first seaside resort where you knit (and work on your emotions).
Some summers are spent in all-inclusive resorts with a wristband. And then there’s this one.
The kind where you wake up with a crochet hook in your hand, an iced coffee by your side, and a question as sweet as a freshly baked croissant: “Did you make your stitch today?”
Welcome to Lido Tessiland, the first virtual beach club where there are no sunbeds to book but creative moments, no queues at the bar but lines for a new project, and the animation team offers muscle warm-ups in single crochet style.
Spoiler: it’s all real. And all on our Facebook page and our Instagram account.
Three weeks, four activities per day, zero pressure.
Just sun, yarns, and imagination.
What is Lido Tessiland?
- It’s an idea (but also a community).
- It’s a daily schedule (but also an evening hug).
- It’s a series of contents created by people who love yarn and creativity as much as a quiet hour by the sea or a cold lunch with green olives.
- Every day, from June 24 to July 14, the “doors” of this virtual beach club open. And whether you’re in the city or at a campsite, you can join for free with just two things: a connection and a crochet hook.
What happens every day at the Lido?
Each day is marked by 4 moments, like in a crochet resort:
- MORNING STRETCH (9:00 AM)
A simple project, a technical tip, or a stitch to try — to wake up the mind, the hands, and the creative spark.
- APERITIF GAME (12:00 PM)
Quizzes, polls, palettes, creative challenges. To laugh, engage, and feel part of something fun and light.
- AFTERNOON SNACK (3:30 PM)
A palette, an inspirational project, or a yarn + fruit combo worthy of a magazine cover. Think Vogue Crochet Edition.
- EVENING GOODBYE (8:00 PM)
A quote, a sharing moment, a cozy thought. To thank yourself. And that one extra stitch.
A little preview? Here are a few highlights from the first week:
Morning Stretch
- Monday: Stretching and chains: start your stitch with a deep breath
- Thursday: Creative twist: today you try a new stitch
- Sunday: Granny stretches: today only squares and sweetness
Aperitif Game
- Monday: Guess the yarn! Spin the yarn wheel!
- Wednesday: Palette game: create your chromatic popsicle
- Saturday: Comment challenge: tell us about your most “sun-kissed” project
Afternoon Snack
- Monday: Sorbet palette: yarns to enjoy with a spoon
- Thursday: Coconut & sand moodboard: beach elegance
- Sunday: Grandma’s snack? A doily and a fiordilatte ice cream
Evening Goodbye
- Monday: “Did you make your stitch today?” – Lido Diary at 8 PM
- Wednesday: Dedication to the yarn that saved your day
- Friday: Live recap with our animation team
Why does this project feel good?
- Because it teaches us that creativity can exist even without expectations or judgment.
- That you don’t have to finish a bag in 48 hours.
- That every stitch counts, even the mental ones.
- That there’s a community that knows how to speak with yarn but also with heart.
At Lido Tessiland, even a single chain made between a laundry cycle and a work call counts.
It always counts.
How to join?
Just follow Tessiland’s Instagram profile and Facebook page and… start your summer diary.
Stock up on all the yarns and tools you need from our online shop, Italy’s No.1 for cords and yarns. The one without a suitcase, but full of skeins. Ready to grab your pareo, your yarn, and go? See you under the virtual beach umbrella. I’ll bring the sunscreen. You… bring the crochet hook.
