The Crochet Net Bucket Bag: A Trendy Accessory for 2024
Bucket bags have made a comeback, conquering runways and the hearts of fashionistas worldwide. This model, also proposed by major fashion houses, is perfect for those who want a practical yet glamorous accessory. If you are passionate about crochet, today I will show you how to make a crochet net bucket bag, a simple yet highly effective project.
Materials:
- Chobin elastic cord: 1-2 skeins
- Crochet hook: size 5
- Faux leather bag
Instructions
Creating the Rectangular Base
Initial chain: Start with 32 chains + 1 chain for height.
First row: Go back working 1 single crochet (sc) in each chain (ch), starting from the second.
Following rows: At the end of each row, work 1 ch, turn your work and continue with 1 sc in each sc of the previous row. Repeat until row 5.
Creating the Net
Starting the net:
After completing the base, work 7 ch, skip 3 stitches and close with 1 slip stitch (ss) in the 4th stitch.
Net row:
Continue this way for the entire row, ensuring that the single crochet reaches halfway up.
Closing the row:
On the last stitch, before closing with 1 ss, work 3 ch and close with 1 treble crochet. Place a stitch marker.
Continuing the Net
Height of the bag:
Proceed with 7 ch and close in the middle of the 7 ch previously worked. Continue until you reach the desired height.
Closing the net:
Work a double crochet in the joins of the loops and 1 sc on all the individual chains to create a bucket-like closure.
Inserting the Faux Leather Bag
Placing the bag: Insert the faux leather bag inside the crochet bag, untying the side knot of the cords that allow the bag to open and close.
Securing the cords: Thread the cords through the sides of the closure made with the crochet hook.
Creating the Handle
Initial chain for the handle: Work 65 ch and then 1 double crochet in each one.
Return: Go back working 1 ss in each stitch.
Project finished! Now you have a beautiful crochet net bucket bag, perfect for any occasion. This accessory is not only practical but also an elegant way to showcase your crochet skills. Ready to set the rules of crochet fashion, which continues to be a favorite for both men and women in this beautiful 2024 season. Happy crocheting!
