There are some techniques and works that really sometimes have that WOW effect simply because they are much less widespread. One of these is precisely the technique performed with the Punch needle.
But what is a magic needle?
The magic needle or Punch needle is nothing more than a tool to perform a very specific type of embroidery that we can define as punch (see video at the bottom of the page). It is a pen-shaped tool with a needle at the end that with a movement can bring to life truly incredible creations.
With the Punch Needle, even beginners can achieve a 3D effect during embroidery. Thanks to the three provided needles, easily interchangeable in different thicknesses, the Punch Needle can be comfortably adapted to the desired thickness or to different types of fabric and lace. The thinnest tip of 1.3 mm is for a maximum of 3 threads (thread thickness 0 – 1), the medium needle of 1.6 mm for a maximum of 4 threads (thread thickness 1-2) and the thickest tip 2.2 mm for 6 thread embroidery thread and thin thread (thread thickness 2-4, for example, sock wool). On the needle itself, the desired depth of the stitch or the length of the loop can be selected, so depending on the setting, the three-dimensional levels are almost automatically obtained. The soft grip is comfortable to hold, allowing for the creation of small recycling projects and more elaborate decorations without effort, just pull the thread and it's done. The back of the embroidery can be best fixed with fabric glue and easily create writings with the magic needle and use the magic needle for carpets. The limit is only the imagination!
