- Create a Spacer: To prevent the shank button from loosening, create a spacer with a few loops of thread between the button and the fabric before securing it completely. This helps keep the button stable and allows the shank to fit better.
- Strong Stitching: Make uniform and tight stitches to ensure the buttons are securely sewn and do not come loose with use. Pass the thread through the shank several times to ensure a secure hold.
- Finishing: Once the button is secured, tie the thread tightly on the inside of the fabric to prevent it from fraying. Trim the excess thread for a clean finish.
