The long and medium-length sewing needles are made of hardened steel and have a burr-free punched eye. Their fine and slender pointed shape, as well as their smooth, pore-free surface, allow them to glide well over all fabrics. The coordinated spring hardness ensures smooth operation without bending or breaking, even with the finest needles. The needle head is shaped so that the needles can be easily guided without a thimble. In general, sewing needles are about 7 mm longer than the corresponding semi-long needles and are used for all common sewing tasks. Many consumers prefer long needles for a better grip.
