Tessiland continues its green campaign by introducing a 3 mm macramé yarn entirely produced in Italy and made with 100% recycled and eco-friendly fibers. The cotton used to make Macramand is free of impurities, making the cord very clear in its twist. This aspect sets it apart from often poorly defined and "dusty" imported cords. Macramand is perfect for creating high-quality macramé curtains, accessories, bags, and baskets.

What is macramé?

We can define macramé as a particular technique with which you can create many handmade objects, developing a design by making knots. The most commonly used yarn for macramé is cotton cord, which is durable and has an unbeatable quality-price ratio.

Tips: From bags, jewelry, curtains, to belts, the number of objects that can be created is vast, and the only limit is your imagination! It is also possible to crochet it to make beach bags and backpacks with a boho and shabby look, and it will be amazing to make rugs and mats as well!

Maintenance: The general rule is that macramé is absolutely washable, even in a washing machine (always placing it in a pillowcase to avoid deformation), but the limit is the work we have done. For example, if we have made curtains with soft knots, it is advisable to avoid machine washing simply because the knots would lose their shape and the design.
