The characteristics of bamboo make it a valid alternative to cotton as it is an excellent conductor that allows you to obtain fresh garments in summer with a very high transpiration capacity.
Another important characteristic is that bamboo yarn is classified among antimicrobial and hypoallergenic yarns thanks to a natural antibacterial element (bamboo-kun) contained in the fiber and resistant to multiple washes.
Indicated for clothing, it is particularly suitable for the little ones. In fact, its softness makes it ideal for the most delicate skin. Clothing, tank tops, accessories, but also shawls and baktus will be pleasantly fresh in summer, protecting us from the evening chill without becoming heavy.
For correct maintenance: although absolutely resistant like cotton, the advice for correct maintenance is to wash it by hand with gentle detergents suitable for the quality product. It is not impossible to wash it in modern washing machines that have specific programs and using a neutral soap suitable for vegetable fibers, but it is always not recommended to do it in the first washes when the fiber still needs to settle. It is always advisable to dry it flat and away from heat sources and, if necessary, to iron it, applying a damp cloth between the iron and the creation.
