It is worth noting the use of pure cotton fiber that makes this recycled yarn one of the very few 100% Cotton marketable.
In detail: scraps obtained from clothing production, through a special production process, are recovered and transformed into yarns such as DRAKE that maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
The packaging phase provides a reduction in energy exploitation; specific studies for this process attest to a 56.3% CO2 saving, a 56.6% reduction in energy resource consumption, and a 77.9% reduction in water usage throughout the production process.
With the abolition of dyeing processes, chemical use is reduced by 90%.
What makes the material particularly interesting, in addition to the production cycle, are the performance characteristics: thanks to its molecular structure, DRAKE stays cool in summer and warm in winter.
