The finest made in Italy wool blends with the precious Tussah silk.
If you are looking for a truly unique product that can blend Italian quality with that extra touch, then you are looking for the Mark yarn. The finest merino wool is spun together and mixed with Tussah silk. Do you know what it is?
The Tussah silk: Tussah silk is produced from the cocoon of wild, not farmed, silkworms and is therefore also called wild or wild silk; it is very resistant and has excellent recovery after stretching and prolonged use of your garment, it is also highly hygroscopic, so it absorbs moisture and dries quickly, providing more warmth.
Even in small percentages, it provides that little extra to a prestigious product that can enhance your handmade works. Suitable for clothing and accessories, it is a product that is particularly suitable for projects for children and babies thanks to the combination of merino wool and silk, allowing you to create objects of great prestige.
Note: the particular construction of Mark may reveal in the weave characteristic "tufts of silk" that are easily removable and should be considered a feature, not a defect of the product.
Maintenance: Like all fine wool, we recommend a first hand washing at 30 degrees with a suitable soap for the fiber and drying as indicated on the label where all the instructions are given. The Mark yarn has an additional SUPERWASH treatment that also allows the use of the washing machine with delicate washes suitable for the product.
