When we talk about yarn, we must be aware that types of yarn vary depending on different factors: origin, length, portion of shearing on the animal, etc. and from the processing phases that follow and the attention with which they are carried out; from washing to sorting to beating to spinning and finally to dyeing and finishing.
The "Baby Key" yarn is exclusively finished in Italy for Tessiland® and uses high-quality fibers to obtain a truly unbeatable quality/price product, suitable for children. It is suitable for making baby and toddler wool blend garments because even the synthetic components that guarantee its durability over time are of the highest quality and with all dyeing treatments guaranteed by the highest quality standards.

Details: A new updated version to further improve the already highly appreciated Baby Key of past seasons. Greater smoothness and a very defined appearance of the fiber with a slightly different visual effect than in the past, thanks to the finer wools used and the quality of the synthetic part that is made up of the most beautiful acrylic microfiber on the market. In short, a significantly improved quality product to provide even greater comfort and better pilling performance.
Differences from previous versions: At the same yardage as the old version, a different optical appearance can be observed, very similar to the most valuable wools; less bulky than in the past and much more pleasant to the touch, having considerably improved not only the fibers but also the construction of the yarn itself. The fact of not being bulky does not prejudice the softness, but enhances it especially wash after wash, allowing creations to remain beautiful over time. For these differences, the current version is not specular to the previous ones and, although compatible, it is not recommended to consider it for the continuation of old projects started with the 2021 version.
Tips: Baby Key is a high-quality yarn that will show all its beauty after the first washes, which we recommend doing for the first few times by hand at 30 degrees with a gentle soap. Remove excess water without wringing (at most by doing it gently and without mistreating the garment too much) but dabbing with a towel. Once the excess water has been removed, lay it flat to dry away from heat sources. Baby Key is a wool blend that will last over time, and after the first care, it will be possible to wash it in the washing machine with a gentle cycle, making your creations very practical for everyday life. Try it and you won't be disappointed!
