The "BABY KING" Wool
A Wool Blend with Lurex Insert
For several seasons now, the wool blend with Lurex insert has been available on the Tessiland website. This season, as is now standard with Tessiland products, we have sought to evolve to improve some characteristics, also based on the feedback we receive.
Very similar to Baby Key Lux, Baby King stands out for its even finer and more precious wool fiber compared to the past, but both the optical effect and the title, and therefore the usable crochet, are absolutely compatible with the old version.
Speaking of wool, we must be aware that the types of wool vary in relation to various factors: origin, length, shearing portion on the animal etc, and from the processing stages that then ensue and the care with which they are performed; from washing to sorting to beating to spinning and finally to dyeing and finishing.
The "Baby King" Wool is produced in Italy exclusively for Tessiland® and uses first quality fibers to obtain a product with an unbeatable quality/price ratio and that makes an article originally thought for children, also suitable for adults thanks to the careful combination with Lurex. Hence the birth of ideas for elegant shawls, pull-overs and ponchos with that extra touch of femininity. A well-twisted Lurex that won't bother your skin, but will give your creation that extra touch.
Details: Smooth in the processing phase, the Baby King wool receives a vaporization treatment that softens and preserves the fiber and thanks to the scrupulous packaging that is done skein by skein in a very thin film with a low environmental impact that guarantees the absence of external agents and therefore makes the product dust-free.
Advice: Baby King is a high-quality wool that will show all its beauty after the first washes. This is because the wool fiber will "explode" (as it is said in jargon) in contact with water.
For a correct wash and especially for the first washes, it is recommended to hand wash at 30 degrees with a mild soap. Remove excess water without wringing (at most doing it gently and without mistreating the garment too much) but by blotting with a towel. Once the excess water has been removed, let it dry flat and away from heat sources.

Conclusions: Baby King is a wool blend that will last over time and after the first attentions it will be possible to wash it in the washing machine with a gentle wash, making your creations also very practical for everyday life. Try it and you won't be disappointed!
Differences with previous versions: Baby King is very similar in construction, optics and usable tools to BabyKey Lux of previous seasons but it is not combinable with the new solid color Baby Key (at least if you are looking for the identical consistency and appearance of Baby Key). This suggests the possibility of being used like the old BabyKey Lux, clearly considering that there are very small differences to keep in consideration if you should continue a job already started with the Baby Key Lux, both of fiber and naturally of color.

Abbastanza decente
Abbastanza morbida al tatto, una volta finito il proprio lavoro è molto bella esteticamente, l'unico diffetto è che mentre la si lavora le fibre di cui è composta tendono a separarsi e bisogna stare attenti specie se si usa l'uncinetto. Per il resto è buona.
