Knitting and crocheting sometimes aren't enough. Tessiland offers a whole range of knitting looms and tools to complete our personal creative corner. What is a knitting loom?

Looms are tools that allow knitting without using needles or crochet hooks, at least not in the way we are used to seeing them. Here we find a sock loom, but also looms in general for knitting. It's very easy to create, for example, a cowl with one of these tools, and what's even more intriguing is that they are suitable even for beginners who want to delve into the creative world, or even for children!

The weaving loom, as mentioned earlier, can be used for various creative purposes, and the fact that there are also modular looms makes it even easier to understand how different objects of different shapes and uses can be created. We can make a scarf with a rectangular loom, design a project to use a blanket-making loom, or even a rug-making loom. The only limit is your imagination!

The DIY weaving loom can be made of different materials, from wood to plastic to metal, but its purpose is always to introduce even the less experienced to basic techniques. In short, a beginner's weaving loom that allows everyone to create small items without having great skills.

The embroidery hoop

In the family of looms, the embroidery hoop is usually round with a screw closure that is used to stretch the fabric on which you will embroider by hand. There are hoops of different sizes to adapt to the dimensions of the objects you will embroider.

Whether it's a yarn loom, a loom for working with yarn, or if you want to adapt the loom for cotton work as well, the simplicity with which these tools are used is the same.

What should not be missing to start working on a loom?

Then there are some tools that make the job easier, we could say "professional". For example, a good yarn winder is essential to unravel old skeins found in a drawer, giving them the right tension again. Or a good sewing kit to take anywhere we want to carry out our "creative attack". And to store my tools? In this section, you will also find containers and yarn holders of various types.

How many types of looms are there?
