The wool blend skein is chosen, for example, when we want a skein that "mixes" the characteristics of multiple fibers, such as Wool and Cotton or when we want to combine the softness of wool with the durability of acrylic to achieve the quintessential wool blend skein, such as BabyKey or Celine.

Wool blend fibers are also the most commonly used for creating thick wool skeins to be worked by hand, for example, and are suitable for all types of knitting and crochet work.
