Maintenance:

A ribbon like Korn, with a complex structure and the presence of cotton inside, must be treated with the utmost care during the first washes. After that, it can be treated as the easiest and most resistant garment you have in your wardrobe. It is also important to consider that slow processing, especially when done with knitting needles, tends to leave the fiber quite loose (i.e., it tends to leave space between the stitches), which, with careless washing, could cause the garment to shrink. Therefore, it is necessary to take some precautions both during processing and during the first wash;

• When working on a project that requires a certain softness and therefore different space between one stitch and another, perhaps made with particularly "airy" structured stitches and especially when the work is done with knitting needles, it is necessary to take into account the shrinkage and compaction of the work, which may cause the loss of a few centimeters. For this reason, it is important to be a little more generous with the final measurements of the garment we want to achieve;
• The very first wash is advisable to do before delivering our creation to the recipient and should be done in cold water without detergent. Simply immerse the garment in water and, if possible, spin it to completely remove the water before drying it (always away from heat sources and lying flat);
• In the case of knitting, it is always advisable to make a sample first to check the behavior of the ribbon during washing with the chosen stitch type
